  • Add marketing comments to the listing, especially with the pictures.
  • Attach MLS lock box to your house
  • Watch for the number of “hits” from agents who view the listing
  • Compare listing price with other comparable listings on MLS

Publish on the web:

Print and other Marketing:

  • Office will advertise in the Journal and the Shopper often
  • May arrange a staff tour, if appropriate
  • Contact existing prospects for possible buyers
  • Make a presentation on this property to all other agents in the office

Representing the seller:

  • Have an idea of financing possibilities for the property
  • Ensure that proper forms are filled out by the seller, and made available to buyers
  • Communicate with the seller about how the marketing is going
  • Consult with seller about possible changes in marketing strategy, especially in regard to pricing
  • Represent the seller when offers are submitted
  • Present all offers to the seller
  • Consult with other agents in the office, especially my partner, for shared wisdom
