Lakes of Mason County

There are hundreds of lakes in Mason County.  Many of them are power boat lakes for water skiing and jet skiing, too.  Others are quiet community lakes, for boating and fishing.

  • Emerald: Small lake.  Private.  Fishing.
  • Fawn Lake:  70 acres.  Private community lake with several community parks.  Fishing, swimming.
  • Hanks:  Seasonal lakes, no fish.  Dry in summer.
  • Haven: 69 acres.  Fishing.  State access, with toilets.
  • Isabella: 200 acres.  Water skiing and jet ski.  Full watersports lake.  State access, with boat launch and toilets.
  • Island: 109 acres.  Water skiing and jet ski.  Full watersports lake. Fishing.  State access, handicap accessible, and toilets.
  • Kokanee (Lower Cushman): 150 acres.  Fishing.  Motors limited to 7.5 horsepower.
  • Lakeland Village: Small and Private community lake.
  • Lake Limerick: 80 acres.  Power boat; observe speed limits. Fishing.  State access, with toilets.
  • Little Nahwatzel: 15 acres.  Private.  Fishing.
  • Lost: 121 acres. Water skiing and jet ski.  Full watersports lake.  State access, with toilets.
  • Maggie: 25 acres.  Fishing.  State access, with launch and toilets.  A peaceful little lake in the middle of the forest.
  • Mason: 995 acres.  Water skiing and jet ski.  Outstanding watersports lake.  Reputed to be the cleanest lake in the state.  Popular for fishing.  Public access.  Marina.  Simpson Timber Company’s recreational area.
  • Melbourne: 35 acres.  Excellent for fishing.
  • Nahwatzel: 269 acres.  Water skiing and jet ski.  Full watersports lake.  Public access, with launch and toilets.  Lake Nahwatzel Resort.  RV sites and cabins.
  • Phillips: 111 acres. Watersports lake.  State access, boat launch, and toilets.
  • Price: 110 acres.  Excellent fishing. cent
  • Rainbow: 2 acres.  Private lake community.
  • Robbins: 17 acres.  Fishing.
  • Rose: 9 acres. Fishing.
  • Spencer: 230 acres.  Water skiing and jet ski.  Full watersports lake.  State access, with boat launch and toilets.  Spencer Lake resort.  RV park and hookups.
  • Tee: 38 acres.  Fishing.  Public Access, with toilets.
  • Tiger: 109 acres.  Watersports lake.  Access is at the Kitsap County end of the lake.
  • Big Timberlake: Estimated 40 acres.  Water skiing allowed.  No public access.  Private community lake.
  • Little Timberlake: Estimated 15 acres.  Private lake community.  Fishing.
  • Star: About 35 acres.  Private lake community.  Fishing.
  • Trails End: 74 acres. Fishing.  State access, with toilets.
  • Twin: 15 acres.  Fishing.
  • Wildberry: 8 acres. Fishing.
